HAHA good question! I never did pageants myself, but I am kind of fascinated by the pageant life…I won’t lie.
If my daughters have any interest in pageants, then probably so. Otherwise, no. I REFUSE to become a pageant mom who lives vicariously through my little girls that are obviously not interested!

A “high risk” school could be either be a school that is economically disadvantaged OR one that is underperforming academically (not doing well on statewide standardized tests). Often the two go hand-in-hand, but not always. My school just happens to be both!

Aw, thank you so much!! I’ve worked in all kinds of schools with all kinds of kids & I know that I would not be satisfied with working in a private school or a wealthier school.
I feel so loved, appreciated, & truly needed by my kids. I know I can make a big difference in the high needs schools & that is definitely worth all of the stress!

My Dearest Allie, I couldn’t sleep last night because I know that it’s over between us. I’m not bitter anymore, because I know that what we had was real. And if in some distant place in the future we see each other in our new lives, I’ll smile at you with joy and remember how we spent the summer beneath the trees, learning from each other and growing in love. The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that’s what you’ve given me.
